Tarnow Equality Center is a venue of around 50 m2, opened as a safe educational and cultural space for the local community and LGBTQIA+ people.
The venue consists of two rooms: a workshop room for up to 20 people and a social room. There is an accessible restroom on site with a Pink Box menstrual product point.
The space is wheelchair accessible thanks to a ramp. Due to cobblestones in front of the building, movement can still be difficult in some areas.
The venue is equipped with a projector, screen, laptop for presentations, a queer library and educational materials.
At the Center we run workshops, support groups, educational programs, cultural events, integration meetings and screenings. It was created as an answer to the need for a safe and open space for dialogue in Tarnow.
